Additionally, workers have greater access to information than ever before to identify a company that aligns with their values and interests. A key consideration for job seekers is the efforts companies are making to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

A recent report from Comparably showcases some of the top companies as rated by employees of color based on 16 workplace culture metrics, including compensation, career growth, leadership, and work environment.

Data was collected between November 2020 and November 2021.

The top 10 companies, as rated by employees of color, are highlighted with additional details on their DEI leaders and initiatives.

1. RingCentral

  • Industry: Technology
  • Headquarters: Belmont, California
  • CEO: Vladimir Shmunis
  • Danita Oliver is the senior global diversity, equity, and inclusion lead.
  • 76% of employees of color would recommend their workplace
  • 83% of employees of color feel they’re paid fairly
