But Trump returns to Butler in a very different presidential race.
Despite the disastrous performance of President Joe Biden in their June 27 debate, Trump was still reveling in the growing doubt among Democrats about their candidate's ability to win a second term ahead of the first Butler visit.
After Biden dropped out of the race, Harris has assumed leadership of the Democratic ticket and has started to narrow Trump's lead.
Trump's second Butler rally will also spotlight his new entourage.
Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and new Trump ally, is expected to attend. After the Butler assassination attempt, Musk officially endorsed Trump, marking a significant shift in their previously hostile relationship.
JD Vance, Ohio's senator and Trump's running mate, will give an opening speech.
According to the campaign, Corey Comperatore's family members are also expected to attend the rally.
On Saturday, the Secret Service increased its security measures for the rally.

Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated that the former President is receiving increased security measures and we take his safety and security very seriously.
