Official portraits of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance were shared by their transition team days before their inauguration.
The two portraits depict the Republicans in blue suits, white collared shirts, and blue ties, with Trump wearing an American flag pin on his lapel.
In a photo, Vance, the ex-U.S. senator from Ohio, has a closed-mouth smile, while Trump's expression and head angle resemble the stone-faced expression he wore in his mugshot taken in Fulton County Jail in 2023.
Daniel Torok, Trump's chief photographer, disclosed the photos on social media on Wednesday.
The new portrait of Trump as president-elect for his second term shows a striking difference from his first term portrait from December 2016.
In his first term, Trump's White House released official portraits of him and Pence after nine months. The photo, shared on Halloween 2017, depicts Trump smiling broadly.
