On Monday, President Biden granted pardons to Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, and other individuals who he believed were at risk of being unfairly targeted politically.

In his final morning in office, Biden stated in a press release that these public servants, who have served our nation with honor and distinction, do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions.

He stated that he believes in the rule of law and is optimistic that the strength of legal institutions will ultimately triumph over politics. However, these are exceptional circumstances, and he cannot, in good conscience, remain inactive.
