Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene will consult with her fellow House Republicans and listen to their constituents before deciding on a vote to remove Speaker Mike Johnson.

Greene spoke to a group of reporters on CNN about the four bills passed by the House on Saturday, which included aid to Taiwan, Ukraine, and Israel, as well as a potential TikTok ban if ByteDance, its parent company in China, does not sell it.

Greene stated several reasons why she believes Johnson should not be Speaker, but she also expressed her desire to be "responsible" and not call for Johnson's resignation until she has gathered enough support.

Greene stated to reporters that she does not back Mike Johnson as he has already lost his effectiveness.

In March, Greene submitted a motion to remove Johnson as Speaker, but no progress has been made since then.

Johnson, like Greene, criticized House members for waving Ukrainian flags after the bill's passage.

Johnson stated that we should only wave one flag on the House floor, and it is evident which flag that is.

The Senate could receive the bills on Tuesday, as Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has suggested. If approved, they would proceed to President Joe Biden.
