Donald Trump Jr.'s partner, Kimberly Guilfoyle, was questioned by the Jan. 6 committee.

On Friday, the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack interviewed Kimberly Guilfoyle, one of the closest associates of the Trump family, for closed-door testimony.

Guilfoyle is married to Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump. She spoke at a rally held by Trump near the White House on January 6th. Following the rally, a group of Trump supporters, located far away, attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn his election loss.

Trump's re-election campaign was aided by Guilfoyle, a Republican operative and ex-Fox News host.

Ivanka Trump, the former president's daughter, is in discussions with the committee about voluntarily participating in an interview.

The committee had previously subpoenaed phone records related to Guilfoyle.

Guilfoyle's testimony was not commented on by the committee, and a representative for Guilfoyle did not respond to a request for comment.

Some committee depositions have been conducted virtually, so Guilfoyle may not have needed to travel to Washington to give testimony.
