At the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, Bill Clinton stated, "In 2024, the choice is clear: 'We The People' or 'Me, Myself, and I'."

Clinton stated which option he preferred for our country.

The former president, who served two terms in the White House until January 2001, stated that Kamala Harris will work to solve problems, seize opportunities, ease our fears, and make sure that every single American, regardless of their political affiliation, has a chance to pursue their dreams.

Kamala Harris is the only candidate in this race with the vision, experience, temperament, will, and joy to be our voice on good and bad days.

Hillary Clinton, the wife of former President Bill Clinton, lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump, the current Republican presidential nominee.

At the beginning of his speech, Trump was the target of a sharp joke from Clinton.

I'm too old to gild the lily," Clinton said. "I turned 78 two days ago, and I'm still not as old as Donald Trump.

Clinton also contrasted Trump to Harris

""Donald Trump has been a consistent source of division, blame, and belittling towards others, according to Clinton," she stated."

"He cultivates chaos, treating it as valuable art."

""The next time you hear him, don't focus on his lies. Instead, pay attention to the number of 'I's' he uses." Clinton made this comment after observing that Trump frequently talks about himself."

"His vendettas, vengeance, complaints, and conspiracies: He's like a tenor who opens up before he walks on stage, trying to get his lungs open by saying 'me, me, me me'."

"Every day will begin with 'you, you, you, you' when Kamala Harris is president."

On Monday, Clinton tore up the initial version of his speech after watching the first night of the convention, as reported by NBC News.

On Wednesday, Clinton's aide stated that Clinton was inspired by the passion and zeal exhibited in Chicago and decided to incorporate that feeling into a revised speech he delivered.
