Former President Trump to be sentenced on July 11

After being found guilty in his criminal trial in New York, former President Donald Trump is continuing with his fundraising events, which are expected to bring in large sums of money for his presidential campaign.

Trump no longer needs to attend court daily, allowing him to travel to fundraisers in Texas and California.

David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya, longtime venture capitalists, are hosting a fundraiser for the former president on June 6 in San Francisco. Tickets for the event start at $50,000 per person and go up to $300,000. Couples can get in for $500,000.

The Hamptons on Long Island are likely to host Trump after the Republican party's mid-July nominating convention, according to a source familiar with the planning.

The Hamptons soiree will have at least six co-hosts, but the campaign has not yet decided on the date or host, according to a source.

The sentencing of Trump in the case has been set for July 11 in New York City.

According to sources, Trump has privately expressed his desire to host a fundraiser and rally at Madison Square Garden in July.

One person explained that extensive security measures would be necessary to ensure Trump's safety in a public venue with a seating capacity of 19,000 people, as discussed by his team and its allies.

In order to discuss fluid scheduling decisions and logistics, some individuals in this narrative were granted anonymity.

The Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, scheduled for July 15-19, may clash with a potential event at Madison Square Garden in July.

If Trump were to sell out tickets to Madison Square Garden, the event could easily raise millions of dollars for his campaign, which is currently facing financial difficulties due to legal fees.

A spokesperson for MSG stated to CNBC that no events with the Trump organization are currently planned.

Officials from Trump's team and MSG have discussed a potential event at the arena, but no additional information is available.

The MSG event for Trump would be a response to President Biden's successful fundraiser in March at Radio City Music Hall, which featured two former presidents and raised over $25 million. The event sold out the 5,000-seat venue, with tickets starting at $250 and going up to $500,000, according to NBC News.

A major donor to the Democratic Party, Jacob Helberg, will be a newcomer at the Republican National Convention this year, serving as a senior advisor to Palantir CEO Alex Karp.

Helberg intends to organize a two-hour summit on July 17 in Milwaukee, during the convention, concentrating on technology and the defense sector.

Palmer Luckey, the founder of defense technology company Anduril Industries, and Sens. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., and Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ohio, are among the confirmed guests to the summit.

Banks, a longtime Trump supporter, stated on CNBC that Helberg is closing the divide between Silicon Valley, Washington D.C., and the defense sector. "I hope he will have a significant impact on President Trump's second term, and I eagerly anticipate seeing him in Milwaukee," Banks added.

The press representatives for Anduril, Tuberville, and Hagerty did not respond to requests for comment. The Republican National Committee spokeswoman also did not respond to a request for comment.

Helberg revealed to The Washington Post that he provided $1 million in support of Trump after consistently supporting Democrats for years. He donated at least $700,000 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020, as per Federal Election Commission records.

Helberg stated that his main concerns regarding Trump's trial are the critical factors affecting America.

He highlighted issues related to undocumented immigrants entering the US, competing with China, and the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
