This time-saving email hack has been praised by Mark Cuban and Tim Cook, stating that it has significantly altered their daily routines.
Bosses have overwhelmingly embraced artificial intelligence's potential.
Recent Gartner research shows that 87% of CEOs believe the benefits of AI outweigh its risks, with 44% having used ChatGPT in their jobs and three-quarters of CEOs experimenting with it.
Top business leaders are employing AI to tackle a common workplace annoyance: an overwhelming inbox.
In the morning, between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., Tim Cook, Apple CEO, checks his iPhone for new emails and overnight sales reports.
Recently, Cook admitted to the Wall Street Journal Magazine that he reads every email, including customer feedback from Apple, which is a challenging task given that he receives over 800 emails daily.
Apple Intelligence, the tech giant's newest AI offering, provides Cook, 64, with automatic summaries under his emails in the Mail app.
Cook stated that saving time here and there accumulates to a considerable amount over a day, a week, and a month.
Prior to the public release of Apple Intelligence on iOS devices on Oct. 28, Cook stated that it had already improved his productivity and daily routines.
""It has truly changed my life," he said."
Mark Cuban uses Gemini, Google's generative AI assistant, to manage his inbox instead of a different AI tool.
The billionaire entrepreneur and investor, who spoke to CNBC Make It at an event announcing his AI partnership with Google, stated that he receives thousands of emails daily, many of which are repetitive.
Cuban 66 began utilizing Gemini's recommended email replies feature in Gmail to streamline his inbox, proclaiming it the "ultimate time-saving hack."
"He stated that it has decreased the necessity for him to write out standard replies, allowing him to quickly assess its response and send it in 30 seconds instead of typing it out himself."
Cuban claims that with AI managing his correspondence, he can devote less time to his inbox and more time to strategic tasks, resulting in his increased productivity and effectiveness as a leader.
AI has also helped Cuban be more efficient in his personal life.
"As a parent, I've found using different generative AI tools to correct spelling and grammar mistakes in my kids' homework assignments to be very helpful. Additionally, I ensure they're not using AI to write their papers."
