The cost of owning the famous homes from 'Full House', 'The Godfather', and other iconic TV and movie shows.

This year, both the Chicago-area house featured in "Home Alone" and the San Francisco townhouse from "Full House" were listed for sale at millions of dollars.

A recent study provides information on the cost of owning properties from popular movies and TV shows such as "Scarface", "Mean Girls", "Twilight", and "The Sopranos".

In June, CardRates.com analyzed 25 famous houses from film and television. By utilizing Zillow's home value estimates and Bankrate's mortgage calculator, the report calculated the monthly mortgage payments and the annual income needed to afford each property.

According to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the mortgage rates were calculated based on a 20% down payment, a 30-year fixed loan, and the current interest rate as of June 2024.

The current list prices for some of the properties mentioned in CardRates.com's report are now available on the market.
