Miller Lite encourages you to savor its beer during Dry January.

On Tuesday, the brewer unveiled its newest offering: Miller Lite Beer Mints. These candies deliver an initial burst of mint flavor, followed by the subtle yet delightful taste of Miller Lite that leaves consumers' breath feeling refreshed and their taste buds tingling.

The iconic beer logo is on the front of the small tin containing the mints, which will be sold for $5 each starting January 12. The limited time drop will be restocked once on January 19.

"To cater to those taking part in Dry January and craving the taste of Miller Lite while socializing with friends, we introduced Beer Mints," Ann Legan, the brand's vice president of marketing, stated.

CNBC Make It was able to test the candy before its launch.

If I got a Miller Lite at a bar that tasted like this, I would inform the bartender that they need to clean their lines.

The taste of this beverage is not similar to mint or beer, making it unsuitable for satisfying a Dry January craving for the taste of Miller Lite.

The mints have a mildly sweet and inoffensive flavor, despite not tasting like what they're supposed to.

Although the taste of the candy was not great, the positive reactions I received from my friends and colleagues when offering them the candy made the $5 cost worth it.
