Mark Cuban's mornings begin before 7 a.m.—you'll be surprised by his routine.
Self-made billionaire Mark Cuban's morning routine is simpler than you might think.
"In a video interview with People published last week, Cuban revealed that he spends eight to ten hours a day on his phone or laptop."
Cuban prefers brief interactions over lengthy meetings or phone calls, as he stated.
Cuban revealed on the "What Now?" podcast that his daily routine begins between 6:30 and 7 a.m., with an hour spent responding to emails before getting out of bed. This early-morning organization helps him maintain productivity throughout the day.

Cuban acknowledged that it's a privilege to be attracted to entrepreneurship in order to control his own schedule. Currently, he runs one of the companies he founded, a pharmaceutical startup called Cost Plus Drugs.
""Being in this position allows you to control your time, which is the only asset you can't control," Cuban, 65, stated."
Cuban believes that his streamlined schedule and communications through his inbox help him prepare for the day and cut down on unnecessary calls and emails, as researcher Nicola Hughes advised in 2018 that starting your day with emails and texts isn't always beneficial to your mental health.
Productivity isn't always about waking up early
Some prominent business leaders, such as Indra Nooyi and Tim Cook, wake up earlier than Cuban. Nooyi wakes up at 4 a.m, while Cook wakes up at 3:45 a.m and works for an hour before heading to the gym.
Starting your day early can provide you with some quiet time to set goals, exercise, or accomplish personal tasks without interruptions. According to psychologist Joel Dyoskin, just 20 minutes of this can set the tone for the rest of your day, as stated in Make It in 2022.
According to a 2022 Inc. survey, only 5% of CEOs wake up at 4 a.m., with over two-thirds waking up before 7 a.m. However, experts suggest that the importance of waking up early is not as significant as getting enough sleep and using your morning time effectively.
To optimize physical health, mental well-being, and productivity, sleep scientists suggest sleeping between seven and nine hours each night. Additionally, maintaining consistency by waking up and going to bed at the same times daily can help reduce feelings of tiredness.
Cuban, who once stated that he gets roughly seven hours of sleep per night, maintains his routine consistently, as he informed Noah. Following getting out of bed, he consumes breakfast, exercises, and checks his email on his phone again.
"Rinse and repeat," said Cuban.
