An ideal adventure for Americans planning an escape next year is this unique one.

The Villa Vie Residences announced its Tour La Vie program, which allows passengers to reside on the Villa Vie Odyssey ship for a maximum of four years.

Villa Vie's CEO, Mikael Petterson, tells CNBC Make It that the new program was planned before Election Day. Although it is not a reaction to the outcome, the offering is well-timed.

Despite the election results, our Tour La Vie campaign is still a great option for those looking to travel abroad.

According to a survey by Arton Capital, which assists the affluent with immigration plans, 53% of American millionaires indicated that they are more inclined to depart the U.S. following the election, regardless of the outcome.

Our community unites through our shared love for travel, despite our diverse political beliefs, as Petterson stated.

Here's what we know about Villa Vie's '4-Year World Cruise'

The Tour La Vie offers travelers four options:

  • 1-Year Escape from Reality, starting at $49,000/year
  • 2-Year Mid-Term Selection, starting at $47,000/year
  • 3-Year Everywhere but Home, starting at $43,333/year
  • 4-Year Skip Forward, starting at $40,000/ year

The "Skip Forward" trip will encompass more than 425 ports in over 140 countries across all seven continents.

The Villa Vie Odyssey has been traveling around the world for two months as part of a 15-year tour. Initially, residents had three choices for living on the ship: owning a villa, renting a villa, or opting for a flexible plan called Endless Horizon.

The ship offers a fitness center and spa, a business center, three restaurants, 5 bars and lounges, and free alcoholic beverages.

Passengers on the Tour La Vie will have the flexibility to meet the ship at any scheduled port over the next four years, according to a press release shared with CNBC Make It. The Odyssey is currently in the Caribbean and will remain there until the end of December, as per an itinerary available on Villa Vie's website.
