It looks like more smooth sailing for the cruise industry.

A Condé Nast Traveler survey in October found that 47% of people expressed interest in going on a cruise, despite only 27% of readers having gone on one the previous year.

The cruise tourism sector is rapidly expanding, according to a recent report from the Cruise Lines International Association.

Condé Nast Traveler's top cruise lines ranking was determined through a two-month survey where readers voted on their favorite cruises based on several categories, including weighting.

  • Service
  • Food
  • Accommodation
  • Sustainability

Large ships have between 2,500 and 4,000 passengers, while mega ships have more than 4,000 passengers. The cruises were evaluated on a 100-point scale.
