According to Nirajita Banerjee, head of editorial for LinkedIn India and career expert, the software and tech sector continues to dominate the startup scene, as evidenced by the fact that "most of the startups in the top 10 are in this space." Banerjee specifically mentioned companies such as Zepto, Sprinto, and Lucidity, which all landed in the top three.
According to a report released on Wednesday, these companies are not only expanding rapidly and attracting investors and job seekers, but they are also developing groundbreaking solutions that are transforming the future of their respective industries.
This year, four of the top 10 startups are based in Bengaluru, further solidifying the city's reputation as a global hub for startups.
Banerjee stated that while Bengaluru remains India's "Silicon Valley," there is a growing diversification with startups emerging from Tier 2 cities such as Indore and Pune.
