Millions of individuals have left their jobs due to the pandemic, in order to spend more time at home, become self-employed or pursue their dream careers.

Recent research from Google indicates that the quitting wave known as "The Great Resignation" is spreading to other continents.

The top countries searching for "how to quit your job" on Google from January 2021 to 2022 were the Philippines, South Africa, the U.S., Australia, and the U.K.

Google's researchers identified the top jobs people searched for in the U.S. alongside the phrase "how to become," such as "how to become a lawyer," to determine which careers people are most interested in.

According to Google's research, jobs that enhance individuals' mental and physical well-being, provide numerous travel opportunities, and offer flexible work schedules are the most appealing to people. The top two positions on the list were "real estate agent" and "flight attendant".

While certain jobs are more popular in specific regions, it appears that individuals in the Northeast, Northwestern Midwest, and Western U.S. are more interested in pursuing careers in real estate, while those in the South and Midwest are more inclined towards becoming notaries.

In New Mexico, flight attendant was the most searched job, while in Montana, personal trainer was the most popular role.
