The luxury apartment on Netflix's "Owning Manhattan" is generating buzz.

The reality TV show "Owning Manhattan" showcases celebrity broker Ryan Serhant and his team at SERHANT. as they attempt to sell properties in Manhattan and Brooklyn. In several episodes, the penthouse at 527 West 27th St, also known as Jardim or "garden" in Portuguese, is featured.

"The property in New York City, which blends outdoor and indoor living, is a rare architectural gem, according to Chase Landow, the SERHANT agent who sold it," as reported by CNBC Make It.

In 2023, it was reported that Bad Bunny rented the most expensive apartment in New York City at the time, which cost $150,000 a month, according to Landow.

The penthouse was sold for $15 million in May, after being on the market with SERHANT brokerage for approximately a year.

The sale price of "Owning Manhattan" was listed at $20 million, with a potential commission of $600,000. If the commission remained at 3%, Landow's commission would be $450,000. However, Landow did not disclose the exact commission amount in our interview.

The penthouse apartment was sold to Viswas "Vis" Raghavan and Pamela Raghavan, the Head of Banking and Executive Vice Chair at Citi, not Bad Bunny.

"According to Landow, real estate involves discovering the ideal buyer who values the property's features and finding the perfect seller who appreciates the buyer's needs."

The apartment boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and is approximately 4,500 square feet in size, with an additional 4,600 square feet of outdoor space. It features a lap pool, multiple terraces, a library, an outdoor kitchen, a spiral staircase, and direct elevator access.

Isay Weinfeld, a renowned Brazilian architect, designed the 36-unit building, which represents his first project in New York City.

"Landow emphasizes the importance of having a reprieve from New York City and an oasis in the middle of the city. He notes that everything in the apartment is thoughtfully placed."

The private driveway, fitness center, 60-foot lap pool, yoga studio, onsite parking, and "paparazzi-proof" private driveway are among the amenities offered.
