A nationwide treasure hunt has been launched by a crypto millionaire, with multiple bitcoin worth over $100,000 each hidden.

A wealthy individual with a background in cryptography has concealed large sums of money throughout the country and released a guide on how to locate it.

Jon Collins-Black, who concealed valuable items such as Olympic gold medals, rare trading cards, historical artifacts, and crypto in five puzzle boxes, has written a new book titled "There's Treasure Inside" where he reveals the locations of these priceless objects.

The boxes, as he stated, are not buried and are situated on public property within three miles of a public road.

Collins-Black stated that he is uncertain about the true worth of the treasure, but he personally invested over $2 million in it. Additionally, with Bitcoin's 140% increase in value this year, the treasure's worth has surpassed $100,000 early Thursday afternoon, indicating that its value will continue to rise.

Earlier this month, he told CNN that he wanted to add more value to a treasure chest than he had ever done before.

According to Collins-Black, designing the hunt took "the better part of five years" and was intended for anyone who enjoys "solving clues, being in nature, or finding a hidden treasure."

A gold medal won by the Nigerian men at the 1996 Olympics
Multiple bitcoin
A rare, holographic Pokémon card
A glass once owned by George Washington
A moon rock
A 21-ounce California gold nugget
An ancient Chinese jade bracelet from 3000-4000 BC

Collins-Black's treasure hunt is meant to be difficult, but not dangerous.

"His website states that all boxes are securely placed in safe areas that are easy to access. Even those with average health should have no problem. An entire chapter in the book is devoted to ensuring a safe and enjoyable treasure hunting experience."
