There are high-paying jobs that have low stress levels.

Nearly 900 professions are ranked by stress tolerance on a scale from 0 to 100, taking into account the ability to handle criticism and manage high-stress situations, according to the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Information Network (O*NET).

Jobs in the sustainability sector are often low-stress and high-paying, according to Julia Pollak, chief economist at ZipRecruiter, who explains that this could be due to the opportunities and stability offered in this field.

Pollak predicts that sustainability and green technology will undergo substantial growth in the long term due to shifting consumer preferences towards eco-friendly options, government incentives for clean energy, and rapid technological advancements.

Green jobs, such as solar photovoltaic installers and wind turbine technicians, have experienced rapid growth in recent years and are expected to continue to do so in the future, according to her.

Remote sensing scientist or technologist

Scientists in this field gather and analyze data from aircrafts or satellites to address issues in urban planning, homeland security, and natural resource management. Environmental economist

Economists investigate topics such as alternative energy sources, soil preservation, and environmental pollution, and produce academic papers on the costs and benefits of environmental policies and regulations. A master's degree, Ph.D., or law degree is often necessary for this job.

Water resource specialist

Water resource planners, also known as specialists, develop and implement programs to enhance water conservation efforts and ensure the provision of safe and clean water to various communities.
