On Tuesday, a spokesman confirmed that former President Donald Trump has appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard to his presidential transition team.
In the past week, both Kennedy and Gabbard endorsed Trump in his race against Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have joined the Trump/Vance Transition team, as the coalition of supporters and endorsers for President Trump continues to grow across partisan lines, according to a statement from Trump campaign senior advisor Brian Hughes to CNBC.
Hughes stated that he is eager to have their strong voices on the team as we strive to revive America's greatness.
If Trump wins the presidential election on Nov. 5, the transition team will make staffing and policy decisions, with Kennedy and Gabbard being considered for the team, as first reported by The New York Times.
On Friday, Kennedy paused his individual presidential campaign. It is reported that Gabbard, who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 and left the party in 2022, has been assisting Trump in preparing for a debate against Harris.
