At least 337,826 visitors were directed to Vote.gov, a government website that provides state-specific voting information, after Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in an Instagram post on Tuesday night.
After the first debate between Harris and Trump, Swift endorsed Harris minutes later.
The musical superstar urged her Instagram followers to visit the Vote.gov website and encouraged them to research and register to vote early in her endorsement post.
"In the 2024 Presidential Election, I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and I find it much easier to vote early. I will provide a link to register and find early voting dates and information in my story."
By 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the custom-made URL link created by Swift led to a surge of visitors to Vote.gov.
Vote.gov has enjoyed a Swift bump before.
In 2023, Swift posted a link to the Vote.gov website to encourage her followers to register to vote. The website experienced a 1,226% traffic increase in the hour following Swift's post, according to NPR.
After the post, the website received an average of 13,000 visitors every 30 minutes, as stated by Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey to NPR.
Trump and his campaign have already expressed their disapproval of Swift's presidential endorsement.
In an interview on "Fox & Friends" Wednesday morning, the Republican presidential nominee stated that Swift would likely face consequences in the market for her actions.
His running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, echoed the bitter sentiment.
Vance stated in a Wednesday Fox News interview that while many Americans may appreciate Taylor Swift's music, they are unlikely to be swayed by a billionaire celebrity who, in his opinion, is out of touch with the concerns and struggles of the average American.
Trump previously stated that he would accept a Swift endorsement if he received it.
In August, when fake images of Swift endorsing Trump were shared on social media, Trump tweeted, "I approve."
Swift's Tuesday night post endorsing Harris was partly due to the fake AI images.
"The megastar wrote that they were informed that AI endorsing Donald Trump's presidential run was falsely posted on their site, and they need to be transparent about their actual plans as a voter."
