Several NBA players who have signed long-term extensions are expected to surpass Curry's $62.6 million salary in the upcoming season.
Curry won a gold medal with the Team USA basketball team at the 2024 Olympics and led the team with 24 points, all of which were three-pointers, in the championship game against France.
Curry, 36, has played his entire NBA career with the Warriors.
On Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. ET, CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" will feature Curry.
