J.P. Morgan Private Bank releases a summer reading list every May, which serves as a book club for wealthy individuals who rarely have time to read during the year.

The J.P. Morgan Summer Reading List, now in its 25th year, features 10 books chosen to appeal to the interests of the bank's affluent clientele. This year's list includes titles on communication, AI, Formula One, whiskey, undiscovered travel destinations, and the art collection of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.

J.P. Morgan's list of recommended books is created by surveying its over 35,000 client advisors and employees worldwide and asking about the most talked-about and thought-about topics. This year, the advisors submitted over 700 book recommendations, which a committee narrowed down based on relevance and appeal.

"J.P. Morgan Asset and Wealth Management's chief communications officer, Darin Oduyoye, has led the list of clients since its inception and stated that there are books available for each group, including business owners, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and art collectors."

Clients receive a J.P. Morgan-branded box containing recommended books from their advisor, along with a handwritten note and a commemorative bookmark.

J.P. Morgan advisors can connect with clients during the slow summer months by utilizing a list of authors who often agree to special dinners or speaking events for clients.

Being on the list of recommended books is also appealing to authors, as J.P. Morgan purchases thousands of copies to distribute and clients frequently recommend the books to others.

Oduyoye stated that the list is eagerly anticipated by both clients and colleagues, as well as our communities.

The 25th anniversary edition of this year includes a special "Anniversary Spotlight" on Water.org, a charity founded by Gary White and Matt Damon, and their book "The Worth of Water."

The 25th Annual Summer Reading List of J.P. Morgan, along with summaries of the books, has been released by the bank.
