The "baby Escalade" is the latest addition to Cadillac's all-electric vehicle line, featuring a three-row SUV for its luxury brand.
The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq will be the final electric vehicle in the brand's lineup when it hits production and dealerships in 2025.
The SUV will be priced at $78,790 and will fall between the $63,500 Lyriq and the upcoming $130,000 Escalade IQ EVs in terms of cost.
In 2022, Cadillac's first electric vehicle, the Lyriq, was described by Brad Franz, director of marketing, as being closer to a "baby Escalade" than a larger version of the Lyriq.
During a media event, he stated that this platform is an exceptional choice, being much closer to an Escalade than the Lyriq.
The Vistiq's interior and exterior design align with Cadillac's current and future EV models, such as the Lyriq and Escalade IQ. The interior boasts a lengthy dashboard screen, while the exterior exhibits stylish vertical and horizontal front lights and an illuminated grille.
The vehicle boasts a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack, delivering 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. According to Cadillac, the vehicle's fully charged range is approximately 300 miles.
The Vistiq will be available globally, including in the U.S. and Canada, with production beginning in early 2025 at GM's Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee. At launch, the Vistiq will offer three trims: Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury. A Platinum trim will be introduced in summer 2025.
The full EV lineup of Cadillac is predicted to consist of the Optiq crossover, Lyriq midsize, Vistiq and Escalade IQ full-size SUV, as well as a custom $300,000 Celestiq.
Cadillac initially declared that it would only sell electric vehicles by 2030, but the company has since revised its stance, stating that it will follow customer demand.
