Six individuals are hospitalized after American Airlines' hard landing on Maui.
At Maui's main airport, a flight from Los Angeles experienced a hard landing, resulting in the hospitalization of six individuals, including five flight attendants and one passenger.
The six were later released, the airline said in a statement.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, Flight 271 landed at Kahului Airport at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday. The FAA is currently investigating the incident, and neither American Airlines nor the FAA have released any additional information.
According to the airlines, the Airbus 320 had 167 passengers and seven crew members on board.
