Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, owned by BMW, has experienced an increase in demand for customized and intricate car models in recent months.

Some of these individualized embellishments have included orders for solid 18-carat gold sculptures, intricate embroideries comprising more than 869,500 stitches and holographic paint finishes.

The company announced that it will invest over £300 million at its Goodwood manufacturing facility in southern England to provide space for bespoke and Coachbuild projects. This exclusive program allows clients to create an entirely original motor car.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced its largest investment in Britain since the Goodwood plant opened 22 years ago, which is likely to benefit the ruling Labour Party.

On Wednesday, Chris Brownridge, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, informed CNBC's "Squawk Box Europe" that Rolls-Royce is a global business.

Brownridge stated that our organization has clients worldwide and the increasing demand for complex commissions from them is something we must fulfill. This investment in Goodwood demonstrates our organizational health and our confidence in our growth plans.

He stated that the goal was not to produce more Rolls-Royces, but rather to create more unique and exceptional motor cars through special commissions.

In 2023, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars reported a 5% decline in sales, with 5,712 cars sold compared to 6,032 globally. The company attributed this slight drop to the transition to new models.

In 2024, the number of motor cars delivered to clients in North America was the highest among all the firm's sales regions.

Last year, the most popular Rolls-Royce Motor Cars models were Cullinan, Spectre, and Ghost, in that order.
