Popeyes Permanently Adds Popular Ghost Pepper Chicken Wings to Its Menu

Popeyes is permanently broadening its menu beyond chicken sandwiches.

Popeyes is introducing three new chicken wing flavors nationwide, including Honey BBQ, Roasted Garlic Parmesan, and Ghost Pepper, starting Wednesday. Additionally, the fast-food chain is adding two more flavors, Signature Hot and Sweet ’N Spicy, to its menu.

The Ghost Pepper wings were an overnight success when tested earlier this year, and the Sweet ’N Spicy wings have been the chain's best-performing product since its chicken sandwich.

For three years, Popeyes has been refining its wing recipes, and starting from $5.99, a six-piece of the new wings will be available.
