On Monday, Carvel announced that they will collaborate to offer oat milk-based products at their ice cream shops across the country.

Oatly's shares increased by 7% in Monday trading, providing a relief for the plant-based milk company that has faced challenges in regaining investor enthusiasm since its stock market debut in 2021.

Oatly, a Swedish company valued at approximately $657 million, experienced its stock price drop to around $1.12 per share on Monday. Despite its initial public offering, the company's financial performance has consistently underperformed expectations, resulting in a decline in share value since its trading debut at $22.12 per share in 2021.

As part of its partnership with Oatly, Carvel, a well-known soft serve chain, will introduce five new plant-based desserts to its menu. These Oatly flavors will be available at approximately 300 of Carvel's stores across 18 states.

Oatly will offer strawberry soft serve, scooped cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, and cakes as part of their product line.

Oatly announced a partnership with the ice cream shop chain to cater to customers with dairy allergies or dietary restrictions. With the increasing popularity of plant-based milk, oat milk has gained a larger share in this market.
