The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, have announced that they will end their 15-year feud to reunite for a series of shows next year, which are predicted to spark intense excitement among fans.

Oasis will perform in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin from July 4 to August 17, 2025, marking their only European dates for next year. Tickets will be available for purchase on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

The band announced that plans are being made for OASIS LIVE '25 to visit continents other than Europe in the next year.

Oasis disbanded on August 28, 2009, and the Gallagher brothers pursued individual projects and performed Oasis hits separately. This announcement was made just before the 30th anniversary of the release of the album "Definitely Maybe," which was the fastest-selling debut album in U.K. history at the time and included tracks such as "Live Forever" and "Supersonic."

The Manchester group, renowned for their hits "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova," were at the forefront of the 1990s Britpop movement, which celebrated British rock music, and were in competition with London band Blur.

In 1996, Oasis played for two nights at Knebworth in Hertfordshire, U.K. and 2.5 million people applied for tickets, while currently, the band has 21.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Ticketmaster has been criticized for site failures during sales for popular artists such as Taylor Swift. CNBC has contacted the site for comment on the latest gig tickets going on sale.

Complaints about the high cost of live music tickets on resale sites, which can reach almost $1,000 for popular artists like Beyoncé, have been voiced by live music fans.

Ticketmaster allows resales only at the face value of the ticket plus booking fees, through its site or official resale partners. Unauthorized resales may result in the ticket being void.
