Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl Champion, is combining his health and nutrition company, TB12, and his apparel company, Brady, with training brand Nobull.

Brady will become the second-largest shareholder in Nobull, following Mike Repole, the founder of BodyArmor, who acquired the company in 2020.

Terms of the deal were not provided.

In 2015, Marcus Wilson and Michael Schaeffer founded Nobull, a Boston-based company with about 100 employees across the U.S., U.K., and China. The company primarily sells its sneakers and apparel online.

The company will continue to operate under the brand name Nobull and aims to become a comprehensive wellness company after the merger.

Repole stated that he wanted to make a significant move with the Brady deal, as he believes Nobull has the potential to become an iconic brand in the health and wellness industry. He envisions Nobull playing a major role in the sneakers, apparel, nutrition, and mental resilience space, and helping people overcome adversity.

In July, Nobull was acquired by Repole, who has a history of turning beverage brands into household names. His portfolio includes selling BodyArmor to Coca-Cola for $5.6 billion in 2021, as well as creating and selling Vitaminwater and Smartwater to Coca-Cola in 2007.

Brady can help him turn Nobull, a $250 million brand, into a billion-dollar powerhouse.

Brady stated to CNBC that the part of the piece that most connects with him is our mindset and our goal of motivating others through our actions and encouraging them to strive for excellence in their own lives.

The TB12 and Brady brands' footwear, apparel, and nutrition products will be included in the deal.

Brady was previously an endorsed athlete with an apparel and footwear deal with the company. However, that deal has since ended.

Brady, who claims to be "happily retired" and eagerly anticipating the upcoming Super Bowl game, can secure his brand and devoted fan base's continued impact through the deal.

Brady believed it was the ideal chance for him and the brands he's collaborated with to create a positive impact.

Nearly two years ago, Repole began conversing with Brady and discovered shared interests, despite their differences in background and achievements.
