Audi of America Chief Marketing Officer Emilie Cotter announced Thursday that the -owned company has formed a multiyear partnership with the South Florida soccer club in an effort to expand its reach among soccer fans.
Cotter stated that with five million U.S. fans and growing, they are a real performance powerhouse, making them a perfect fit for us.
According to Cotter, the partnership commences on Thursday and includes a fleet of vehicles adorned in Inter Miami CF's distinctive pink color, Audi test drive experiences, fan zone activations, and stadium LED and other in-game content.
Terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Inter Miami CF president of business operations Xavier Asensi stated that the partnership between the two companies is ongoing and that they aim for a long-term partnership to build together.
Asensi stated that being a partner has the advantage of allowing you to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.
Since 2015, Major League Soccer has had Audi as its official automotive partner, and Cotter stated that the automaker aims to expand its soccer involvement.
Audi has been expanding its sports investments and aims to return to Formula 1 auto racing in the 2026 season.
The upcoming Copa America 2024 Final and the 2026 FIFA World Cup are significant events for North American soccer, and the partnership between Inter Miami CF and the region adds to the excitement.
The signing of Messi has led to an increase in ticket sales for Inter Miami CF, marking a significant turning point for the young club.
