The airline intends to launch flights to Dublin and Edinburgh from the United States as part of its trans-Atlantic growth plan.

Tickets for the newly offered destinations went on sale Wednesday.

JetBlue will commence daily seasonal services to Dublin from its John F. Kennedy International Airport hub in New York and Boston Logan International Airport starting March 13, 2024. Flights to Edinburgh from New York's JFK will begin on May 22, 2024. The airline stated that all three routes will operate until September 30, 2024.

Robin Hayes, CEO, announced that our summer seasonal service to Dublin and Edinburgh will offer a new level of service and affordable fares, challenging the high-fare legacy carriers that have dominated these markets for decades.

JetBlue has long planned to offer service to Europe using some of its longer-range jets, a strategy aimed at reducing demand largely controlled by larger competitors such as Delta, United, and their European partners.

JetBlue executives aim to attract customers through improved "Mint" business-class cabins, with trans-Atlantic service starting in 2021 from New York to London.

JetBlue announced on Wednesday that it will launch service between Boston Logan International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport starting April 3, 2024. Additionally, the airline will add a second daily flight to Paris from New York’s JFK beginning June 20, 2024.

This summer, the airline launched its first service to Paris, which was its second European destination.
