In 2024, these airlines had the highest on-time performance.

International trips contributed to the increase in air travel demand in 2024.
Revenue-passenger miles worldwide increased by nearly 11% from January to October 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, according to the International Air Transport Association. IATA predicts that aircraft departures will reach 40 million in 2025, a 4.6% increase from 2024.
Airlines increased premium seating and added flights to generate higher revenue, particularly on long-haul trips. Despite challenges such as aircraft shortages and financial difficulties, many carriers were able to avoid flight disruptions that occurred during the pandemic's acute staffing shortages.
