Skytrax has named Changi Airport the world's best airport 12 times, including 7 consecutive wins from 2013 to 2020 and another in 2023.
This year, the airport in the city-state was named "Asia's Best Airport" and also received the "World's Best Airport Immigration Service" award.
In 2023, South Korea's Incheon International Airport improved from fourth to third place and was recognized as the world's most family-friendly airport.
In 2023, Tokyo's Haneda Airport was ranked fourth and named the "World's Cleanest Airport" by Skytrax, with a record 70 million passengers processed.
Narita International Airport, Tokyo's other major international airport, ranked No. 5 on the list. It was recognized for its customer service and won the title of "World's Best Airport Staff."
Airport services, including check-in and transfer experiences, immigration clearance, shopping, and departures, were evaluated by passengers through questionnaires sent between August 2023 and March 2024.
