Price hikes are coming to Disneyland.

The entry-level ticket price at the California-based park will remain at $104, while other ticket tiers, based on demand, will increase between $7 and $12, a 5.9% to 6.5% hike, the company announced on Wednesday.

The cost of the Magic Key annual pass at the park will increase between 6% and 20%, or $100 to $125, depending on the pass type. These price changes will take effect on Wednesday.

The theme park admissions and hotel accommodations of this place are already under scrutiny for their high cost, and these price changes only add to the concern.

Disneyland has introduced discounted tickets and hotel stays for those who visit during off-peak periods. The kids ticket offer of $50 tickets will be available on Oct. 22 and can be used starting Jan. 7. Additionally, guests can save up to 20% on hotel stays starting in January.

Disneyland Resort offers a diverse range of ticket, dining, and hotel options, as well as promotional deals year-round to welcome families, stated Jessica Good, a spokesperson for the resort, on Wednesday.

Disney's theme parks follow a demand-based pricing model, where certain times of the year are more expensive due to higher demand. Holidays like Christmas and Halloween, as well as school vacations, are peak times.

Disney stated that during January and February, a family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, can visit the park for $308. This equates to two adult tickets at $104 each and two children's tickets at $50 each.

Disney has a tiered ticket system with Tier 0 being the lowest demand at $104 per ticket and Tier 6 being the highest demand with an increase of $12 to $206 per ticket.

Due to demand, the Magic Key program will receive a price increase for all tiers. The lowest tier, Imagine, will now cost $599 per year, a $100 increase. Enchant will be priced at $974, a $125 increase, Believe at $1,374, a $125 increase, and Inspire at $1,749, a $100 increase.

Disney announced that Magic Key passholders will receive early access to Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening and discounts on Lightning Lane passes, in addition to existing merchandise, food, and parking discounts.

Disney's theme parks in Orlando, Florida, have already announced pricing increases for 2025, which were previously reported in February.
