Disney+ is integrating Hulu in a bid to bundle subscribers, with a full launch expected in March 2024, Disney announced Wednesday.

Disney+ and Hulu are now bundled together, with Wednesday's release being part of an effort to integrate the two platforms. Disney recently acquired the remaining one-third stake in Hulu from Comcast's NBCUniversal.

Disney's website states that the Hulu integration is available to bundle subscribers, although it is currently limited.

Disney's direct-to-consumer president, Joe Earley, stated that the Bundle offers an unbeatable value at its price point. He added that the company aims to encourage both existing and standalone subscribers to upgrade to the Bundle, showcasing the vast range of content it provides.

Disney+ focuses on family-oriented content, while Hulu offers more adult dramas and unscripted TV. Disney will gradually launch the integration, allowing parents to adjust parental controls before the full release in March.

After a series of streaming bundles have been introduced, the integration comes next.

Last week, it was reported that Paramount and Apple were considering a partnership to bundle their streaming platforms. Additionally, streaming leaders Netflix and Hulu have partnered with Verizon to offer a bundle of their platforms.

Disney first announced its bundle of Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu in 2019.

Disclosure: Comcast owns NBCUniversal, the parent company of CNBC.
