The Signify Business Cash Card by Wells Fargo is the latest addition to the issuer's line of small business credit cards.

Small businesses can earn 2% cash rewards on all spending and transfer them to Wells Fargo's travel partners without paying an annual fee, thanks to this card.

Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card distinguishes itself in the business cash-back card market by offering unlimited cash rewards without an annual fee. Additionally, if you also have a consumer Wells Fargo credit card, you gain access to the new Wells Fargo travel partners, including the no-annual-fee Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card (see rates and fees) or the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Visa® Card.

Signify Business Cash cardholders can combine their cash rewards with an eligible Wells Fargo consumer card and then take advantage of the consumer card's redemption options. This strategy can greatly boost the value you receive. For example, transferring 34,000 points to Iberia is enough to book a one-way off-peak business-class flight from a handful of U.S. cities (Boston, New York, etc.) to Spain, a flight that typically costs thousands of dollars.

You can see how much more value you get by transferring to travel partners, as those 34,000 points would only net you $340 when redeemed as cash. Other transfer options include Choice Hotels, Air France/KLM, British Airways, Avianca and Aer Lingus.

New Signify Business Cash Card members receive an intro 0% APR on purchases for 12 months from account opening, followed by a variable 18.49% to 26.49% APR. Additionally, members can enroll for a Priority Pass membership for airport lounge access, but there is a fee for each visit.

Alternative cards

The Signify Business Cash Card offers a competitive cash back rate compared to other business credit cards. The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card offers 2% cash back on up to $50,000 per year (then 1% back), with a $500 statement credit after spending $8,000 in the first three months. The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash card also earns an unlimited 2% in cash rewards, with a bonus that matches the value of the Blue Business Cash, despite a smaller spending requirement.

The Signify Business Cash Card offers a higher cash rate on all purchases, making it more rewarding than the Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card, which provides a larger welcome bonus but a lower cash rate on Lyft rides.

You can transfer the cash-back rewards earned with the Ink Business Unlimited to a Chase credit card that allows point transfers, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. Although the Signify Business Cash also allows for cash rewards transfer, Wells Fargo's travel rewards program is new and has a limited list of transfer partners. However, if you can maximize Chase's travel partners, you can potentially get more value out of the Ink Business Unlimited, despite its lower cash-back rate.

Bottom line

The Signify Business Cash Credit card from Wells Fargo is an excellent choice for businesses looking for a no-annual-fee credit card. With 2% cash rewards on all purchases and no caps, it quickly becomes one of the best options available. Additionally, the card offers a valuable welcome bonus and has no annual fee. While there may be specific bonus spending categories that could provide more rewards, or free airport lounge access that some businesses may value, overall, the Signify Business Cash Credit card is a reliable and beneficial choice.
