Phoenix and San Diego now have Chase Sapphire Lounges - here's how to access them.
The Sapphire Lounge by The Club network of Chase has expanded rapidly over the past year, and the expansion is not yet complete.
The Sapphire Lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) opened on Nov. 12, and another outpost will open at San Diego International Airport (SAN) on Dec. 6, 2024.
With a Priority Pass airport lounge membership, you can visit these lounges, but you're restricted to one free entry per year at most locations. CNBC Select explains how to obtain unlimited access with a Chase Sapphire Reserve® card and what you can anticipate in these new airport oases.
How to access the Chase Sapphire Lounges at PHX and SAN
You don't need a Chase card to access the new Chase Sapphire Lounges. Access is available to Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders and anyone with a Priority Pass membership, which you can obtain through credit cards from other issuers.
Cardholders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve can enjoy unlimited access to Priority Pass lounges and bring up to two guests for free.
Priority Pass members have unlimited access to the Hong Kong Sapphire Lounge, while all other members receive one free visit per calendar year across the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network in the U.S. and pay a $75 fee for each subsequent visit.
Numerous premium credit cards come with a complimentary Priority Pass lounge membership.
Terms apply.
Access to other proprietary lounges is included with the use of these cards, in addition to a single visit to the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. With any version of the Amex Platinum Card, you can access American Express Centurion Lounges (enrollment required; terms apply). The Capital One Venture X Card grants unlimited visits to the growing Capital One Lounge network.

Phoenix Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club

Despite being one of the smaller Sapphire Lounge locations at around 3,500 square feet, the Phoenix outpost is still a stunning space with many of the premium features that Sapphire Lounges are known for. The indoor patio overlooks the terminal and features an Airstream food truck serving a menu by Phoenix restaurant, the larder & the delta. Guests can also enjoy craft cocktails at the bar, a wine list curated by Parcelle, and coffee from the Arizona-based Press Coffee.
Sapphire Reserve cardholders can receive complimentary custom-designed luggage tags made in collaboration with Solgaard to celebrate the opening.
San Diego Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club
The Chase Sapphire Lounge at San Diego International Airport will open on December 6, 2024, in Terminal 2. The atmosphere will reflect the San Diego beach lifestyle with local artwork and a digital wall showcasing the coastline.
This 10,000-square-foot location will provide you with everything you need to relax before a flight. The food offerings will feature local selections from Oscars Mexican Seafood and Groundwork Coffee, and will include a wine list curated by Parcelle. The wellness area will offer private rest pods and facials, similar to the LaGuardia lounge.
