BMO is providing up to $500 in cash bonuses for opening a Smart Advantage Checking Account, Smart Money Checking Account, or Relationship Checking Account by September 9. To qualify, you must meet certain conditions.

How to qualify for the BMO cash bonus

BMO is providing you with the chance to earn either $350 or $500 by opening one of its checking accounts from now until Sept. 9, 2024. The best part is that you can receive a cash bonus regardless of which account you select. Here are your options:

• Earn $350 with Smart Advantage Checking by having at least $4,000 in qualifying direct deposits within the first 90 days.
• Earn $350 with Smart Money Checking by having at least $4,000 in qualifying direct deposits within 90 days.
• Earning $500 requires a minimum of $7,500 in qualifying direct deposits within 90 days.

Upon opening your account online, a unique promo code will be automatically applied to your application. The bonus will be deposited to your account 100 days after opening if you meet all the requirements.

To be eligible for the checking account bonus, your account must be in good standing and have a balance greater than zero. Additionally, you can only receive one of these bonuses, and the first account you open will be the only eligible one.

If you want to receive direct deposits, you can choose from salary, paycheck, pension, Social Security, or government benefits payments. However, if you open your account on the last day of the promotion, you must submit and have your application approved by 9 p.m. CT.
