  • Ford Motor is updating its Lincoln Navigator to include a 48-inch front display.
  • The "Lincoln Rejuvenate" feature in the large SUV includes spa and gaming modes to create a relaxing atmosphere for the driver.
  • The 2025 Navigator will have a starting price under $100,000, with more detailed pricing to be revealed closer to its spring 2025 release.

The Lincoln Navigator is now featuring a 48-inch front display that serves as a "sanctuary" for both spa lovers and gamers.

The new feature is aimed at differentiating the Navigator amid declining sales of the large SUV, as Ford has redesigned the exterior and interior of the vehicle for the 2025 model year.

Dianne Craig, president of Lincoln, stated in a release that the new Navigator is more than just a car; it's a home away from home and a third space that refreshes clients in a completely new way both on and off the road.

The "sanctuary" mode is a feature of the "Lincoln Rejuvenate" system, designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere for drivers. When activated while parked, the driver's seat slides back, reclines, warms slightly, and makes massaging motions.

The mode on the vehicle changes the climate, releases refreshing scents, and plays relaxing videos and sounds such as a waterfall. The scent choices are mystic forest, ozonic azure, and violet cashmere.

The vehicle includes a "waterfall meditation" experience in collaboration with Calm, as well as two other themes - "aurora borealis" and "elements" - with the purchase.

Craig stated that Navigator is the embodiment of the Lincoln brand's ultimate expression of a safe haven.

The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus introduced the large, horizontal screen and rejuvenate modes, while the Navigator's bigger interior allowed for additional enhancements.

If a driver opts for media relaxation instead of a spa experience, the front display can be split to play video and gaming apps while parked. Currently available games are Asphalt Nitro 2, Angry Birds, and Beach Buggy Racing 2.

The SUV with a seating capacity of up to eight passengers will continue to be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, it comes equipped with the BlueCruise advanced driver-assistance system, enabling hands-free driving on highways.

Ford announced that the 2025 Navigator will have a starting price under $100,000, although more detailed pricing will be revealed closer to its spring 2025 release. The current models' pricing ranges from $83,000 to over $114,000.

According to Lincoln, the current average transaction price of The Navigator is over $101,300.

Despite a 23.4% increase in sales year over year through July for Lincoln, the Navigator saw a roughly 21% decline in sales during the same period.

The new Navigator was unveiled during Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance car exhibition in California.
