TikTok is planning to launch its own July sale to rival Amazon Prime Day.

TikTok is introducing a U.S. summer sale called "Deals for You Days," aimed at competing with Amazon's annual Prime Day.

TikTok Shop will have sales on thousands of items, including clothing, beauty products, books, and decor, starting July 9. This announcement was made just two days after Amazon revealed that its annual Prime Day mega sale will occur on July 16-17.

Several retailers, including Walmart, have recently announced July sales in response to the success of Amazon's Prime Day, which was introduced in 2015.

TikTok Shop will host Deals for You Days, featuring discounts from brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, and Nyx. In addition to the sales, merchants and creators will have the opportunity to participate in content challenges and shopping events through TikTok LIVE.

In September 2023, TikTok launched its in-app shopping experience, the TikTok Shop, which capitalized on the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt trend. Content creators can sell products through the shop, and TikTok users can make purchases directly through the app.
