Legendary Australia cricketer Shane Warne has died at the age of 52.

In Koh Samui, Thailand, it was reported that Warne passed away from a suspected heart attack, as stated by his management.

Despite the medical staff's best efforts, Shane could not be revived after being found unresponsive in his villa.

With 708 wickets in 145 matches, Australian leg-spinner Warne is the second-most successful bowler in Test cricket history, surpassed only by Sri Lankan Muralitharan's 800 wickets.

After retiring from the game in 2013, he worked as a pundit for Sky Sports and coached London Spirit in the inaugural edition of The Hundred in 2021.
