Huawei announced Monday that it plans to hold a product launch event this month, coinciding with Apple's annual iPhone reveal, in an effort to outshine its U.S. rival.
Huawei announced on Weibo that the event will occur on Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. Beijing time.
The Apple event is scheduled for late evening on Sept. 9 on the west coast of the U.S.
Apple is predicted to reveal its iPhone 16 collection on the morning of Sept. 9 during its "It's Glowtime" event.
Huawei's event will feature a leading, innovative, and disruptive product, as announced by Richard Yu, head of the consumer and automotive technology group.
Yu stated that this product is revolutionary and others have considered it but failed to create it.
