Amid the ongoing battle against wildfires in Los Angeles, which have caused significant damage to the city and claimed at least 24 lives, companies are contributing millions of dollars to support relief efforts.

On Monday, both companies declared $10 million donations, which were divided among organizations such as the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, World Central Kitchen, and the American Red Cross. Additionally, both companies stated that they are providing assistance to their employees who have been affected by the fires.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix co-CEO, wrote that the upcoming years will be a time of rebuilding for many of us, requiring creativity, vision, grit, and perseverance. Despite the challenges faced by some of the hardest hit neighborhoods, he believes that we will rebuild and emerge stronger than ever before.

NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast, has a significant presence in Los Angeles with its studios.

In the announcement, Comcast Chairman and CEO Brian Roberts expressed his deep appreciation to first responders for their unwavering bravery and relentless work.

Many media and entertainment corporations in the Los Angeles area, including those with significant presences, had previously pledged to contribute to relief efforts. On Saturday, it was announced that Fox had committed $15 million to fire response and rebuilding. Fox News reported that its parent company, , donated $1 million to the American Red Cross.

FanDuel and its parent company donated $250,000 to disaster relief organization Americares and the LA Fire Department Foundation, as announced.

The NFL and twelve Los Angeles sports teams donated a combined total of over $13 million to fire relief efforts.

Grocers pledged $1 million and $2.5 million, respectively, while health insurer Anthem Blue Cross announced a $10 million donation towards relief efforts.

Reuters reported Monday that in addition to, some payment relief is being offered to mortgage customers impacted by wildfires.

Fire relief is being financially supported by Hollywood stars and entertainment figures.

Jamie Lee Curtis, a Los Angeles resident, announced on Instagram that her family pledged $1 million to relief funds, while Beyoncé's BeyGood Foundation committed $2.5 million to its own fire relief fund. Paris Hilton said she would launch an emergency fund to assist displaced families and committed $200,000 to it, while Halle Berry said she donated clothes to victims of the fires.
