Some Schwab customers are experiencing login issues during the global markets sell-off.
On Monday, the brokerage firm experienced technical difficulties during a sharp decline in global equities.
"Some clients may experience difficulties logging into Schwab platforms due to a technical issue, the firm stated on its X social media account. The company apologized and said its teams were working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Hold times may be longer than usual."
Issues were reported by some users on social media regarding access to their accounts. The Dow had previously dropped by approximately 1,000 points.
