In the country, the company, renowned for its vacuum cleaners and hair dryers, has a workforce of 3,500 individuals.
Dyson's CEO Hanno Kirner announced in a statement emailed to CNBC that the company has grown quickly and, like all companies, reviews its global structures periodically to prepare for the future. As a result, Dyson is proposing changes to its organization, which may result in redundancies.
"Dyson operates in intensifying global markets, where innovation and change are rapidly accelerating. As such, we must remain entrepreneurial and agile, principles that Dyson has long embraced."
The company stated that those whose jobs are in jeopardy would receive assistance throughout the procedure.
