On Sunday, Petr Fiala, the prime minister of the Czech Republic, announced that over 12,000 individuals had been evacuated from various towns and that firefighters had intervened in over 7,800 incidents since the flooding started. Fiala also stated that more rain was expected in the coming days in a Google-translated post on X.
