The euro zone's latest inflation data will be closely watched by market participants as European stocks are predicted to open in a mixed state on Tuesday.

According to IG's data, the U.K.'s index has opened 19 points lower at 81,587, Germany's index is down 31 points at 18,288, France's index is down 9 points at 7,566, and Italy's index has risen 8 points at 33,891.

The European Central Bank's next decision on interest rates will be closely monitored based on the euro zone's consumer price index for June, as well as the euro zone's unemployment figures for May and Sainsbury's earnings release.

Wall Street saw the Nasdaq Composite reach a new record on the back of tech stocks, while Asia-Pacific markets mostly fell overnight, breaking ranks with Wall Street. U.S. stock futures are little changed Monday night after the major averages closed higher to start the second half of 2024, as tech stocks outperformed.
