Later this year, U.S. Apple Pay users on iPhones and iPads will have the option of using Affirm, as announced by the San Francisco-based fintech company in a filing. Apple also confirmed this news in its own update.
Affirm offers users the convenience and security of Apple Pay, along with the flexibility, transparency, and no late or hidden fees that users love, providing additional payment options.
On Tuesday, Affirm's shares increased by 5% in early trading, while Apple's shares rose approximately 2.5%.
