The top executive of China's Hisense aspires to secure the position of the leading TV company in the U.S. within two years, according to reports.

The company has been named the first official partner of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in Miami in June 2025. FIFA President Gianni Infantino, FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström, and Hisense Group Chairman Jia Shaoqian were present at an event in Shanghai on Oct. 30 to announce the partnership.
Fang stated in Mandarin, "We hope that through this sponsorship, we can increase our market share." She also mentioned that sports events can enhance Hisense's image as a premium brand.
The company's new TVs incorporate an in-house AI chip to enhance image rendering, according to Fang. He also mentioned plans to leverage AI for improving audio quality, offering athlete stats via voice command. However, the company did not disclose the extent to which these features are available on TV sets in the U.S.
The 55-inch U8 TV series by Hisense costs approximately $700 in the U.S., while the 100-inch version is priced at around $3,000 or more.
In the second quarter, the company was the second highest shipper of TV sets in North America, following Samsung, according to research firm Counterpoint.
According to Counterpoint, Hisense and TCL are aiming to boost their market share by enhancing their advanced TV offerings, including QD-LCD and Mini LED LCD.
Hisense offers a range of home appliances, including refrigerators and washing machines, which are commonly referred to as white goods.
In approximately two years, Fang stated that the company aims to be the leading Chinese brand of white goods in North America.
Over several decades, Hisense has established a strong global business presence, while other China-based companies have more recently started looking overseas for growth opportunities as their domestic market growth slows.
Fang stated that about 30% of Hisense's overseas revenue comes from North America, which generates half of its revenue outside China.
